Happy September everyone! Is it just me or is this world turning faster in 2021?
I hope this blog finds you well. I wanted to show you what has been going on with me.
Late last year I directed a Honda social media ad with Fathom Studios. It captured the human emotion of a real life car accident. I really enjoyed getting to know 3 generations of women and celebrating them all being safe.
Early in 2021 my company handled a variety of shoots. The first was a new campaign for Volpi. We navigated through covid times and upheld the right procedures to keep all members of the crew and client safe. We captured a library of stills (food and lifestyle) and I even got to capture the full Volpi family. It was an honor to have them in the studio all together.
In June we felt like things were going a little back to normal. The sun shined longer and brighter and the reunion of being together slowly came back to life. We put together a full still/motion shoot for El Mayor Tequila. Who doesn't like a good tequila drink in the summer? The backdrop was the beautiful Art Bar at Angad hotel. I have had my eye on their rooftop bar for a while and was excited to get creative there! We shot stages of drinks being made behind their bar with a bit of art deco feel. We helped bring the rooftop to life with an urban bohemian feel. Sunset arrived and `tequila, smiles (and maybe even a little dancing) was enjoyed by all.
